BEU Continues Unit A Negotiations

February 5, 2020

The BEU Negotiation Team and the BSC met for the third time to bargain Unit A proposals. We spent the evening listening to the BSC continue with their responses to our proposals. Almost all of our proposals were flatly rejected (increase staffing, staff daycare, a limit to the amount of testing, etc…), and the BSC needed more information before they could give a definitive answer on several proposals. However, the BSC did agree to increase tuition reimbursement to $750 per course ($250 less than the BEU asked for) and to increase the total per year in the pot to $30,000 ($20,000 less than the BEU asked for).

Our next Unit A Negotiation Meeting with the BSC takes place on February 25th at 6 pm.
