Our Building Reps

Together, We Make Brookline Strong

Our Building Representatives are more than just colleagues — they’re fellow educators, neighbors, and friends who care deeply about our schools and our community. They’re paraprofessionals, teachers, and administrators (Unit B) who know the heart and rhythm of your school.

These dedicated union members step up to represent your voice. They bring your ideas, concerns, and hopes to BEU monthly meetings, advocate for your priorities, and vote on resolutions that shape our collective future. Then, they bring that information back to you — keeping everyone informed, connected, and empowered.

Building Reps also help strengthen our union from within. They ensure every educator and administrator has the opportunity to join our collective voice, and they work side-by-side with you to organize meaningful, effective actions. They listen carefully, share openly, and stand ready to offer advice and support on contract and workplace issues. If you ever face a challenging meeting with administration, your Building Rep is there — not just as a representative, but as a trusted ally.

Our Building Reps help us to stand united in solidarity so our collective voice cannot be ignored. Together, we have the power to:

  • Improve Our Working Conditions

  • Enhance Teaching and Learning

  • Strengthen Our Community

Together, we’re more than a union — we’re the foundation of Brookline’s excellence. Let’s keep showing up for one another, standing shoulder to shoulder, and shaping the future we all believe in.
